Over the past two Scout evenings, the troop split into two groups (2 patrols per group). This was to allow the Scouts to do two activities and get the best they could out of the time with a smaller group than the whole troop. The two activities were Climbing and Air Rifles.
Climbing
The Scouts recently took their adventurous spirit to new heights at Awesome Walls in Stockport. The climbing session was not only an exciting challenge but also a fantastic opportunity to develop teamwork, resilience, and problem-solving skills—all key elements of the Scout Adventure Badge. From scaling towering walls to mastering climbing techniques, the Scouts embraced the experience with enthusiasm, embodying the values of courage and perseverance. For those working towards their Adventure Badge, activities like this provide the perfect chance to explore the outdoors, try new things, and grow as individuals. Here’s to many more thrilling adventures!

Air Rifles
Scouts recently took aim and honed their precision during an exhilarating session with air rifles. This activity offered them the chance to develop essential skills such as focus, discipline, and hand-eye coordination while fostering a sense of responsibility and safety awareness. For many Scouts, the experience was both a thrilling challenge and a rewarding accomplishment, showcasing their ability to adapt and persevere in new situations. Activities like air rifle shooting embody the adventurous spirit of Scouting, encouraging personal growth and teamwork in a controlled and supportive environment.
