Staged Activity Badges
The highest level of each staged activity badges you have earned can move up between all uniforms.

Badges that can’t migrate to the new uniform
Any other badges not listed above – such as challenge badges, activity badges, occasional badges and camp badges do not migrate to the new uniform
What to do with the other badges
Any badges that do migrate to the next sections uniform could be resewn on to a badge blanket.
A badge blanket can be either a blanket or poncho type. The Scout Store sell blankets, https://shop.scouts.org.uk/ or you could use any wool blanket you have at home. Another good source of camp/wool blankets is eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/ – search for camp blanket or military style blanket.
The colour and size of the blanket is up to your personal preference, but a bigger blanket will last and provide warmth on camp as you progress your scouting journey.
A badge blanket serves as a unique and personal canvas for showcasing a scout’s journey and achievements. A blanket offers ample space for endless additions and Scouts can proudly display their badges and patches from camps or events, and other memorabilia, transforming the blanket into a cherished keepsake.
Not only does it provide a visual timeline of their scouting experiences, but it also fosters a sense of pride and accomplishment. Furthermore, a badge blanket is versatile and can be used for warmth during camping trips, around the camp fire or as a decorative piece at home. This practical and meaningful accessory enhances the scouting experience by allowing scouts to tangibly celebrate and remember their milestones.
What could your blanket look like? Here is an example. This blanket has been folded in half and made into a blanket poncho.
