Explorers

Try more. See more. Do more. At Explorers you’ll get the chance to dream big, find your place in the world and make memories to last a lifetime.

Meeting

Explorers is the final youth section in the scouting family. Explorers range from 14 to 18 years old. Explorers form the fourth section of the Scout Association where young people have wanted to continue after the scout section. Explores offers young people the chance for exciting new adventures, like doing the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and putting into practice skills they learned as scouts.

Explorers is technically a District Section, however we have a partnership agreement with Sabre ESU which enables 4th Bramhall to share all our equipment and facilities with them making them feel like part of the group even though we are not in-charge.

Sabre Explorers currently meet Tuesday 7:30pm – 9:30pm

Explorer team members

All of our leaders are trained volunteers working to make Explorers the best it can be, but we don’t just need swashbuckling adventurers to lead our expeditions. We also need tidy-uppers and tea-makers and great listeners from all walks of life – for as much or as little time as they can spare.
